Privacy
PitchLab Privacy Policy
PitchLab is a local-first iOS vocal practice app. The supported V1 flow does not require account creation, developer-operated backend setup, analytics, or app tracking.
Current local-first release scope.
What PitchLab stores on-device
Imported audio is copied into app-managed on-device storage so the local library can remain the primary practice surface.
Saved library data, presets, clips, pinning state, and recovery metadata stay in local app storage.
Imported media is intended to stay on the device rather than a developer-managed cloud account.
Optional remote-source behavior
PitchLab can connect to a Navidrome server you already control or fetch a direct HTTPS MP3 URL that you explicitly supply.
These network paths are optional. They are not required to launch the app, browse the local library, or use the supported first-run flow.
Saved Navidrome items remain references inside the local library instead of replacing the local-first model.
Credentials and secrets
Optional remote-source credentials are stored outside ordinary library snapshot persistence in platform-protected secret storage.
PitchLab does not serialize those secrets into the local JSON snapshot used for the rest of the saved library state.
Tracking and collected data
The current shipping app posture declares no tracking and no collected-data categories for App Store privacy reporting.
The v1 companion website does not add web analytics, tracking tags, or form submission flows today.
If site-only instrumentation is introduced later, it will be documented separately from app behavior so the app privacy story remains truthful.
